Research Associate
Job Description: ERG is in the process of undertaking a study addressing the skill gap for supporting the growth of high-tech and software technology parks of Bangladesh. For the purpose of (i) studying information technology services (ITS) and information technology-enabled services (ITES) skill demand, and also trend, in both local and international market, (ii) establishing sub-sector specific skill map, (iii) determining the existing as well as likely skill gaps, (iv) mapping skill gaps to global classification of relevant occupations, and (v) recommending processes and programs for addressing it, ERG has been looking for competent research associate/s. The potential candidate should have a good understanding of the nature of skills needed in different sub-sectors of ITS and ITES, both in the local and global context. The suitable candidate should have relevant experience and education (preferably in computer science and engineering with exposure to industry dynamics).
