Short Description: 
The course was formulated to facilitate the participants in using simple computer-based tools to assess economic impacts of policy interventions – particularly with reference to safety net programs. As a prelude to engaging with the tools, the course participants were introduced to the basic concepts of impacts, analysis, methods and tools. Because of the importance attached to environment, the participants also introduced to a case study on undertaking environmental impacts.
